The journey to Gorontalo from Manado is possible by public bus, costs 63,000 IDR and takes 11 hours. The bus leaves Manado every day at 5:30 a.m. Another option is a flight from Manado to Gorontalo. Wings Air flies every weekday morning and afternoon for IDR 329,000 and on weekends for IDR 369,000. The flight time is 40 minutes and Garuda Indonesia also flies the route once a day. The prices can vary here and are usually cheaper at the counter in the airport. If you are traveling with several people, you can also charter a small bus for 1,500,000 IDR. The journey takes 8 hours, depending on the driver.
