Gossensaß(Italian: Colle Isarco) is the main town of the municipality burner, he lies in South Tyrolean Wipptal.

At Gossensaß the Pflerscher Bach coming from the Pflersch valley flows into the Eisack. As in the 15./16. In the 19th century silver ore was mined in the Pflersch Valley on a large scale, the town of Gossensaß experienced a brief period of prosperity.
