Urban centers

  • Gniezno - Gniezno is another city linked to the beginnings of the Polish state and to the Dukes of Piast. It preserves an interesting historic center gathered around a solemn Gothic-style cathedral.
  • Gorzów Wielkopolski - Large city and one of the two capitals of the Lubusz Voivodeship.
  • Gołuchów - Tiny village on the Poznań-Kalisz road with a magnificent Renaissance castle set in a large park.
  • Kalisz - The oldest city in Poland also mentioned in Roman texts from the second century AD.
  • Kłodawa - It has the largest still active salt mine in the whole country.
  • Poznań - A thriving city dedicated to trade and in particular to design. .
