Guéret is the capital of Creuse.
getting there
Guéret is about 40 km from the A 20, the Vierzon and thus Paris With Toulouse connects. The connecting road has been expanded to four lanes. Guéret is still on quite a village railway line, but with a pair of express trains (!) From Bordeaux above Limoges to Lyon (Total travel time 9 hours).
