The South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, in English South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, in Spanish Islas Georgias del Sur y Sandwich del Sur, is a territory British overseas located in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is made up of South Georgia Island and nearby islets as well as the South Sandwich Islands archipelago. Administered since Falkland Islands located in the northwest, the territory is claimed by theArgentina.
