The Falkland Islands (or Falkland Islands in English) constitute an overseas territory of UK and are located approximately 500 km of the'South America up to theArgentina at the limit ofAtlantic Ocean andAntarctic ocean.

They are also claimed by Argentina who calls them Islas Malvinas and were the issue of a military confrontation, the Falklands War, between the two countries in 1982.
