Luogang Hefei International Airport (IATA : HEF) is an international airport with flights to/from most major cities. The airport itself is quite old and a new airport is under construction in another part of the city.
Hefei Luogang International Airport has operating airlines including Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Hainan, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Shandong, Shanghai, Okay Airways, Sichuan, Tianjin, Joy Airlines.
The airport is located about 12 km from the city center. A taxi to City Square will cost about 20-25 yuan. There are no buses that run directly from the airport to the city center. You can take bus 11, but you'll need to get out and connect to a bus along the way. Chinese buses can get crowded, so if you're carrying bags, it's best to get a taxi.

Hefei is not known as a tourist destination, but Hefei has many beautiful parks and gardens.
- Bao Cong Garden (包公园) Park admission is free, attractions cost 50 yuan. This is a combination of a very pleasant park with tea houses, gardens, a lake, a tower and of course Bao Cong's rebuilt tomb.
- Xiaoyaojin Park (逍遥津公园 Xiaoyao Jin Gongyuan) 寿春 路 16 号 Shou Chun Lu 16 moats. Many amusement rides and duck pedals for rent. Very crowded on weekends/holidays.
- Xinghua Park (合肥杏花公园 Xing Hua Gongyuan) 庐阳区淮河西路 482 号 Huai Xi Lu. Usually less crowded than Xiaoyaojin Park. In spring and summer, people fly kites, practice Tai Chi early. There are games for rent.
- Complete Park (环城公园 Huan Cheng Gongyuan) 庐阳区环城南路 29 号 Luyang Qū Huan Cheng Nanlu 29 trenches (South Huancheng Road, Lujiang District)
- Dao Hai Park (瑶海公园合肥 Yôhǎi Gongyuan) Yaohai district 瑶海区 Yôhǎi qu
- Hefei Botanical Garden (Héfei zhíwùyuán). 近郊开发区环湖东路123号 Lake Rd. Bonsai garden. ¥20.
- Tan Thanh Tam Quoc Relic Park (三国新城遗址公园 Héféi sānguó xīnchéng yízhǐ gōngyuán) Luyang district 庐阳区, north of the botanical garden.
- Dashu Mountain (大蜀山 Dàshǔ shān) 20 minutes by taxi or coach or bus to the end of Truong Gian street.
- Kai Fu Buddhist Temple (开福寺Kāi fú sì) Located near the bottom of Dàshǔ shān.
- Hefei Botanical Garden (合肥野生动物园 Héféi linewùyuán) is located under Dai Thuc mountain.
