Ischnin en-Nasara (Arabic:إشنين النصارى, Ischnīn an-Naṣārā) is a village with about 9,000 inhabitants[1] in Middle Egypt in the governorate Minyā west of the Nile about 10 kilometers east of Deir el-Garnūs and 12 kilometers southwest of Maghāgha away. The Church of St. Georg is an important place of pilgrimage on the Escape route of the Holy Family in Egypt.
