Urban centers

  • Changchun - Capital of the province of Jilin, Changchun was conquered in 1932 by the Japanese army who made it the capital of the puppet state of Manchukuo, assigning the throne to Pu Yi, which inspired the director Bernardo Bertolucci for his award-winning film "L 'last emperor ". Today Changchun is a city of about 7,000,000 inhabitants, home to major automotive industries. Here you can admire the "Wei Huanggong", the palace where the puppet emperor spent 13 years before ending his days as an ordinary gardener of the People's Republic of China.
