The A11 Karawanken Autobahn is an Austrian motorway that is completely in the Austrian state Carinthia runs. It forms the south-eastern continuation of the Austrian one Tauern Autobahn A10 that Salzburg With Villach connects, and at the same time part of the European route 61. On Slovenian Page closes the w: Avtocesta A2 at that behind Ljubljana in the former Yugoslav w: Autoput Bratstvo i jedinstvo passed over as part of the infamous guest worker route. The Austrian part of the 7.9 km long, currently still two-lane motorway belongs to the 21.2 km long Karawanken Autobahn Karavanke tunnels.

The second tube of the Karawanken tunnel is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

Like almost all Austrian motorways, the "Karawanken Autobahn" is vignette required! In addition, a tunnel toll is levied for the Karawanken tunnel (currently - 2020 - 7.40 euros per vehicle). In Slovenia, the weekly vignette for cars costs 15.00 euros (2020).
