Olomouc Region - administrative region in Czechia, the equivalent of the Polish voivodship, located in the central and north-western part of Moravia (most of the territory), and in the north-western part of the Czech Upper Silesia and a patch of Lower Silesia [a] (including the entire Jeseníky poviat). In the east, it is adjacent to Moravian-Silesian country, in the southeast of the Zlin country, in the southwest of South Moravian countryand in the west with the Pardubice country. In the north, it borders on Polish voivodships of Lower Silesia and Opole. Its area is part of two territorial districts: the South Moravian Region and the North Moravian Region.
