Königsfeld in the Black Forest is a community in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The place was founded by the Moravian Brethren in 1806 and has been shaped by them to this day.

By plane
Due to the great distances to the nearest airport, arriving by plane is only recommended when traveling from far away. The nearest commercial airports are Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen and Basel/Freiburg.

- A specialty of the region are On-call buses. They travel according to the regular schedule and stop at the usual stops - but only if you book in good time by calling at least 60 minutes before the start of your journey! Bus schedules, especially in villages, should therefore be read carefully.

- 1 Albert Swiss House
The Albert Schweitzer House is located at the end of Königsfeld, very close to the golf course and the Donis Forest. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Albert Schweitzer had this house built in 1923, where his wife and daughter lived until 1933. Today the house is a museum.
