the Lake Geneva, also called sometimes Geneva lake, is a large lake of Alps and a tourist region of France. The lake is on horseback France, (department of Haute-Savoie) and Switzerland (cantons of Geneva, of Vaud and Valais). It is the largest lake in Western Europe with an area of 582 km2. It is fed by the Rhône.

The geography is varied, with a hilly plain in the east and mountains starting from Evian in the west. The main attractions in the area are the towns and villages that line the lake, the possibilities for skiing and hiking in the mountains, and of course the lake itself.
