  • Preston - County town of Lancashire.
  • Accrington - The city is famous for producing the hardest and densest building bricks in the world.
  • Bacup - Its landscape dominated by large, rectangular and distinctive, wool and cotton mills.
  • Blackburn - It was a key center for the textile industry during the industrial revolution.
  • Blackpool - Blackpool was, and still is, one of the most visited seaside resorts inEngland.
  • Burnley - Located at the confluence of the Brun into the Calder, it is located 34 km north of Manchester and at 40 km of Preston.
  • Carnforth - Given the proximity of the coast and hills, Carnforth is a popular base for hikers and cyclists interested in exploring the area.
  • Chorley - In 1970 it skyline urban was dominated by numerous factory chimneys; today most have been demolished, although remnants of its industrial past are still present.

  • Haslingden - On the hills above Haslingden is the work of art Halo which lights up at night making it an unusual and impressive landmark.
  • Lancaster - Lancaster is an ancient settlement, dominated by Lancaster Castle.
  • Leyland - Worthy of note are the parish church of St. Andrew, built around 1200 and the large stone cross of Leyland, which should date back to the Saxon period.
  • Lytham St Annes - Lytham St Annes is internationally known for golf and has four different courses.
  • Morecambe - Morecambe hosts a number of large public parties throughout the year.
  • Poulton-le-Fylde - The center of Poulton has been a conservation area since 1979 and 15 buildings in the city have been designated as Historic Buildings of the English Heritage for their particular architectural, historical or cultural significance.
  • Rawtenstall - Its ancient settlement dates back to the early medieval period.
