1 London City Airport. London's fifth airport, built for commuters in the City of London financial district and specializing in short-haul flights to major European cities as well as holiday destinations such as Malaga, Ibiza and Mallorca.
The airport is 11km east of the City of London and close to Canary Warf. It mainly offers flights to major European cities. British Airways operates one flight per day to New York configured entirely for first class only.
It could probably be the cheapest airport to get to and has convenient connections thanks to Docklands Light Rail (DLR). The check-in time for most airlines is around 30 minutes and some only close the gate 15 minutes before departure. Queues at the security checkpoint may be long during peak hours. Once landed, the entire un-boarding, passport control and baggage claim operation takes 15 minutes on average.
To get to the center there are the following options:
- Docklands Light Railway (DLR). The DLR travels to Bank. Change for the Jubilee in Canning Town (for Canary Warf or Stratford).
- Taxi.
£20-35. The rides to the center last about 30 minutes.
- Car. 10 km.
- Bus. YES take the 474 to Canning Town station then the 115 or the N15 to the city center.
By Metro
Victoria Line (Light blue). for Walthamstow.
Central Line (Red). For Woodford or Hainault.
Hammersmith and City Line (Pink color). For Barking.
District Line (green colour). For Upminster.
Jubilee Line (silver colour). For Stratford.
DLR. Up to Canning Town and then take the branches to Beckton or London City Airport and woolwich.
Overground (Orange colour). Useful for getting around the district from Barking to Blackhorse Road.

Tue-Sun 10 am-5pm. Impeccably maintained and an atypical example of a Tudor construction with exposed wood. Built for King Henry VIII. The building hosts exhibits on Tudor culture and the top floor has a great view of Epping Forest.

The building was built as a "work house" (the work houses, Work House, in the Victorian era were concentration camps for the unfortunate who find themselves having to ask for accommodation in order to survive) then used as a police station and private home. . The collection includes the Bremer automobile, built by engineer Frederick Bremer in 1892, the first oil-powered car built in England.
- 4 Walthamstow Village (tube station: Walthamstow Central; train: Walthamstow Central / Wood Street). The ancient core of today's Walthamstow is located around the 12th century church of St. Mary.

- 3 West Ham United Stadium, London Stadium, E20 2ST (tube station: Statford). You can see the matches of West Ham United, which plays in the Premier League inside the Olympic stadium, with a capacity of 60,000 spectators. The women's team plays at Rush Green Stadium in Romford.
