Longwy is a city french of Lorraine, located north of Meurthe-et-Moselle, at the border of the Belgium and Luxembourg. It is a cosmopolitan city with the presence of many origins, inherited from immigration due to factories. It is known for its artistic earthenware: “Longwy enamels”. Longwy is a very pleasant town.

The center of the upper town (Longwy-Haut) is a historic center, with narrow streets and mostly at right angles, making traffic difficult, but the rest of the upper town contains several avenues and traffic is easy. base (Longwy-Bas) is a town with an 1800/1900 architecture, with streets suitable for cars.The connection between the two towns is via the Belvédère (rue de Metz) and the Grimpette, made up of several steep streets fairly tight. There is a viewpoint at the Belvédère, where you can take wonderful photos. Arriving via the N52, you will see signs for "Longwy-center".
