Geographical notes
The Maniva ski area is located at the head of the Val Trompia. Much of the territory is within the administrative boundaries of the municipality of Collio. Some parts, however, fall within the municipalities of Bagolino (Val Sabbia) and, to a lesser extent, Bienno (Val Camonica), Bovegno (Val Trompia). The ridge of some peaks (Dosso Alto and Corna Blacca) form the natural border with Val Sabbia (or, more precisely, its tributary Val Caffaro) and others (Muffetto, Colombine and Crestoso) with the Val Camonica (or, more precisely, its tributary Val Grigna).
