Michelfeld is located in the Haller Bay of the Hohenlohe Plain on the edge of the Waldenburg Mountains and the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. The formerly independent community of Gnadental and several other hamlets and farms have belonged to Michelfeld since 1971.
