Miglieglia is a small village on the southern slope under Monte Lema in Ticino and by the presence of the cable car on this a popular tourist destination.

Miglieglia is a locality and political community in the district of Breno des Luganese (amtl. Lugano district) in the Ticino. The municipality is very varied; from the Kulm of Monte Lema on the southern slope of which the village lies to the largely wooded valley to the meanders of the Maglia river. The village center with its natural stone alleys is just above the main road.

In the street
From the motorway exit Lugano north it is about 16 km to Miglieglia.
- Variant via Arosio (approx. 25 min.): At the first set of traffic lights, turn right towards Gravesano, continue along the many curves of the steep mountain road over the pass at Arosio and continue via Vezio → Mugena → Breno to Miglieglia.
- Variant via Novaggio (approx. 20-60 min.): At the first set of traffic lights, turn left towards Ponte Tresa, then onto the main road towards Bioggio and continue via Agno → Magliaso → Caslano → Pura → Novaggio to Miglieglia.
Free parking at the valley station of the Monte Lema cable car.
By boat
The closest spa boat pier is Ponte Tresa. From the ship landing stage you walk approx. 10 minutes to the train station 'Ponte Tresa, Stazione' and from there take the Post-Omnibus 428, please refer By bus.
