Montbrun-les-Bains is one of most beautiful village in France and a spa town of department of Drôme in France.

Understand

You are in Provençal Drôme in the middle of lavender fields whose summer scents perfume the nights. You are especially in Provence, that of Jean Giono who lived a few kilometers from Montbrun-les-Bains on the Albion plateau. Between Baronnies, Lure mountain and Mont Ventoux, this country benefits from a most favorable climate and constitutes a territory rich in heritage which has a preserved natural environment ideal for the practice of outdoor sports. The Toulourenc offers wild swimming spots but also the possibility of canyoning.

  • 1 The village  – One of the most beautiful villages in FranceAccess limited to people with reduced mobility. In addition to the monuments described infra, the village has 16 fountains of XIXe century and from the very beginning of the XXe century including that of Belfry, dated 1841, which was in the center of the square and which was moved in 1905 to a corner as well as several subtitles, covered alleys connecting the various levels of the villages.
    • 2 Saint-Joseph des Baronnies Church Calade de l'Eglise Logo indicating tariffs free. – Integrated into the old defenses of the village, the church stands above the south gate, the baroque decoration of which should not obscure much older origins. Mentioned on XIIe century, it was a Calvinist temple during the Protestant episode of the region. Taken over by the Catholic authorities, it was transformed, enlarged and enriched in the baroque style and in the spirit of the Council of Trent. Inside, a magnificent altarpiece from the XVIIe century of Jacques Bernus incorporating a table, also from XVIIe century, Saint Andrew and his cross of Pierre Parrocel.
