Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Estuary of the Gironde, bordered to the south by Bordeaux and the Arcachon bay, the peninsula of Medoc is a geographical space with a preserved environment.

  • Two ferry services allow you to come to the Médoc, from the Charente Maritime (Le Verdon-Royan ferry), and from Haute-Gironde (Blaye-Lamarque ferry).
  • By road, take exits 7 or 8 of the Bordeaux ring road (A630).

Exit 7 is particularly suitable for visiting the vineyards of the Médoc by the "Route des Châteaux" (D2Exit 8 is more recommended if you want to go to the Medoc coast.
