Mölten (Italian Meltina) is a village in South-Tirol on the high plateau of the Tschögglbergthat is between Bolzano and Meran on the west side of the Sarntal Alps extends.
getting there
Mölten is located on the Tschögglberg high plateau between Bozen and Meran at 1,130 m. A usable road from the Adige Valley was built up here relatively late, so Mölten is still an insider tip for hikers and nature lovers.
By plane
The Airport in Bolzano is 25 km away, the nearest major airports are in innsbruck and Verona, each approx. 150 km from Mölten. Buses connect these airports with South Tyrol several times a day.

Well-developed roads lead from Terlan (12km), from Merano via Avelengo (25km) and from Bozen via Jenesien (22 km) up from the valley. The "Tschögglberger Panoramastraße" is very popular with motorcyclists and cyclists. Buses can only travel to Mölten via Terlan or Avelengo.
