Polesie is a marshland on the edge of the Łęczna-Włodawa Lake District in the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland. The regions most worthy of protection are in Polesie National Park protected.

history

The idea of ​​establishing a national park here was born in the early 1930s. However, the Second World War and the Soviet occupation of Poland initially thwarted these plans. The national park was finally established in 1990.

The area is well developed for tourism. You can arrive via Lublin.
