Nesbyen is a town in Hallingdal in Norway.

Nesbyen is the administrative center of the municipality of Nes and also traditionally the center of Hallingdal. Lots of houses from Gamle Nes, the old district, date from before 1900.

On the Nesfjell above Nes there is a snow-sure, family-friendly ski area with numerous accommodations and opportunities for both alpine and cross-country skiing.

Fagernes Airport offers connections all year round Oslo Gardermoen, in the winter sports season too London Gatwick. Of Fagernes it is about 77 km on the road via Gol (Fv51 and Rv7). The journey from Fagernes Airport by public transport: bus to Gol, train to Nesbyen.
