Newburgh is a city in Hudson Valley in the US- federal state new York. The City of Newburgh lies within the more extensive Town of Newburgh. Of Beacon Newburgh is only separated by the Hudson River. A bridge connects the two cities.
Also Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, the one for friends of historical original manuscripts Must-see Newburgh hardly offers any classic sights. With its hotel bed capacities, the city is a good starting point for tours in the surrounding area.

8 km west of Newburgh is the Stewart International Airport(IATA: SWF).
By train
The closest Amtrak-Broad stations are in Poughkeepsie and Croton-on-Hudson. In Beacon keep trains of the MTA Metro-North Railroad (Hudson Line) to the Poughkeepsie via numerous stops with Harlem connect.
By bus
Newburgh is served by buses several times a day Greyhound-Daughter Shortline approached. In addition to the main terminal, there are stops at the corners of Broadway & Fullerton Ave and Broadway & Robinson, but they are only served irregularly. Tickets include available from Quick Mart (Citgo, 405 Broadway).
In the street
Newburgh is close to the intersection of Interstate Highways 84 and 87 as well as the touristically important US Highway 9W, which opens up the west bank of the Hudson River.

- Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, 94 Broadway, corner of Liberty St. Behind the name Karpeles Manuscript Library hides the largest private manuscript collection in the world, which is represented within the USA with 9 locations. The holdings of this collection include original scores (e.g. by Mozart and Beethoven) as well as the manuscripts of famous literary works, political documents and works of art. - Motorcyclepedia Museum, 250 Lake St (10 minutes southwest of downtown). Young motorcycle museum that only opened in 2011. Originated from two collections by Indians and Harleys.
