Oberland(Polish: Prusy Górne) is a region in the north Poland, in the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria. It is southwest of Masuria and south of Warmia. To the west it closes Vistula Delta at.

background
The region was first populated by the Baltic states. In the 13th century, the Teutonic Order inherited the area and the diocese Warmia originated, which came to Poland in 1454. When the Reformation in Masuria was introduced, the Oberland became Protestant in contrast to Warmia. In 1660 the Oberland broke away from the fiefdom of Poland-Lithuania and in 1703 came to the Kingdom of Prussia. In 1945 the Oberland became Polish.
