The next long-distance traffic stops with regular service are Leipzig or Erfurt. From there there are swaying and moderately comfortable diesel railcars on the Elstertalbahn Leipzig – Zeitz – Gera or from Erfurt via Jena to Gera, Altenburg and Greiz.
