The Oude Maas is a river in South Hollandthat the island of IJsselmonde from Island of Dordrecht, who parted Hoeksche Waard and Voorne-Putten. The river starts at Dordrecht, where the Beneden Merwede ends and the North direction Rotterdam separates. The river is around 30 km long and has the tributaries Dorche Kil and Spui. The Oude Maas ends at Vlaardingen, where it joins the Nieuwe Maas to the Nieuwe Waterweg goes together.

As the name suggests, this river once formed the mouth of the Meuse. Since then the Bergsche Maas 1904 was dug and the Afgedamde Maas was cordoned off, the Oude Maas is only an estuary of the Rhine.

Bridges and tunnels
- Drecht tunnel Between the Island of Dordrecht and IJsselmonde, the A16 motorway crosses under the Oude Maas.
- Old bridge Dordrecht - Zwijndrecht for local traffic. Was part of the A16 from 1940 to 1977.
- Heinenoord tunnel Motorway tunnel for the A29 (Rotterdam - Zeeland). In addition to the high-speed traffic tunnel, it also has a tunnel for slow traffic, also bicycles.
- Spijkenisserbrug between Spijkenisse and Hoogvliet. Lift bridge.
