Phetchabun(Thai: เมือง เพชรบูรณ์) is the capital of the eponymous province in Northern Thailand.

Fly to Bangkok - if necessary 1 night to relieve the travel stress - then continue with:

  • Bus - every hour from Northern Bus Terminal Mochit Chatuchak Bangkok approx. 200 Baht (approx. 6 €, as of 2019)
  • Rental car - on well-developed four-lane roads (in Thailand there is left-hand traffic) - goes from the airport on route 1 125 km, then via route 21 225 km in approx. 4-5 hours directly to Phetchabun. Depending on the time of day, traffic jams can be expected
  • by taxi - the fare should be agreed before the start of the journey and is a matter of negotiation approx. 2000 Baht (approx. 60 €, as of 2019)
