Radomsko County - poviat in Poland farthest south of the Lodz voivodeship in the area of ​​the Radomszczańskie Hills and Włoszczowska Basin. Small parts of the poviat are occupied by the areas of Sulejowska Pilica Valley, Wysoczyzna Bełchatów, Wzgórza Opoczyńskie and Przedborsko-Małogoski Ranges.

The poviat was created in 1999 as part of the administrative reform. Its seat is in the city Radomskoinhabited by 48,154 people, i.e. 41.1% of the total population of the poviat.
The Radomsko Poviat borders with three poviats of the Łódź voivodeship: Pajęczański, Bełchatów and Piotrków, with two poviats Świętokrzyskie voivodeship: Konecki and Włoszczowski, and with one poviat of the Śląskie Province: Częstochowa. The poviat covers an area of ​​1 442.78 km², is inhabited by 117 064 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2012), i.e. the population density is 81.13 people / km²
Covers 3 cities: Radomsko, Kamieńsk and Przedbórz and 11 rural communes: Dobryszyce, Gidle, Gomunice, Kobiele Wielkie, Kodrąb, Lgota Wielka, Ładzice, Masłowice, Radomsko, Wielgomłyny and Żytno.
The poviat has a favorable communication location, the Warsaw-Katowice expressway and the Warsaw-Vienna railway line run through it.
The varied landscape is a great attraction of the district.
Within the Przedborsko-Małogoski Range, within the village boundaries Wet Mountains there is the highest natural elevation of the Lodzkie Voivodship Cool Fish, with a height of 347 m above sea level
It is located in the poviat Przedborski Landscape Park in which the reserves are located "Bukowa Góra", "Murawy Dobromierskie", "Piskorzeniec", "Black Rod" and "Oleszno". In addition, there are also reserves in the district "Góra Chełmo", "Kobiele Wielkie", "Jasień" and "Dębowiec".
The tourist and recreational character of the poviat is emphasized by numerous forest complexes, rivers (incl. Pilica and Guard), interesting monuments, agritourism and sports centers.
