the Flemish Brabant is a province of Belgium located in Flanders, completely surrounding Brussels and whose capital is Leuven.

The regions of Pays de la Dyle, from Pajottenland and the Senne valley and Brabantse Kouters are part of the green belt ((nl)Groene Gordel) around Brussels.
