Southern Province is a region of the Sri Lanka.
To know
The Southern Province embraces the coast south of Colombo and, thanks to its equipped beaches, sees a great tourist flow. Unfortunately it was severely devastated by the Tsunami of December 2004.
The province is divided into three districts whose capitals are Galle, Matara is Hambantota

After Tissamaharama the A2 exits the territory of the province ending at She, health resort in a spectacular position along the railway Kandy - Badulla
