Southern Province is a region of the Sri Lanka.

To know

The Southern Province embraces the coast south of Colombo and, thanks to its equipped beaches, sees a great tourist flow. Unfortunately it was severely devastated by the Tsunami of December 2004.

The province is divided into three districts whose capitals are Galle, Matara is Hambantota
