Luxembourg province (in the valley Lussimbork, in DutchLuxemburg) is a region of the Wallonia in Belgium.
To know
Territories and tourist destinations
It is divided into five administrative districts (arrondissements in French).
Urban centers
- Arlon - Administrative center of the province.
- Barvaux-sur-Ourthe - It is a nice center in its own right for beginner canoeing on the Ourthe River.
- Bastogne - Center of the Battle of the Ardennes.
- Bouillon - Hometown of the famous crusader, and home to a well-preserved castle.
- Durbuy - Claims to be the smallest country in the world. Some love it and others consider it the quintessence of tourist traps but anyone can enjoy a walk from nearby Barvaux
- Florenville - It owns the splendid Trappist abbey of Notre Dame d'Orval.
- Torgny - Southernmost village in Belgium, and referred to as the most beautiful village in the Wallonia.
