Beaches
The coasts are, for the most part, bordered by sandy beaches. They are listed by municipality:
- Finikounda
- Koroni / Memi
- Methoni
Naturist beach: Located in the town of Romanou, 25 km north of Methoni. You reach the beach by a small road after crossing the village of Romanou. The road ends with a track which leads to a small cliff by the sea. Possibility of parking without problem. Then you just have to go down to the beach (pebbles) and walk north for a while. The beach is wide and peaceful. Out of season, it seems relatively uncrowded, with the exception of groups of foreigners (Northern Europe) who come by motorhome.
Precautions for use : in Greece, naturism is frowned upon. It is formally not recommended to practice it outside the beaches reserved for this purpose (be careful, they are not officially indicated, but most are mentioned in the guides), under penalty of shocking the population.

The ideal is to rent a car in Athens on arrival before leaving for the Peloponnese. There are 80 km between Athens and Corinth, a city located at the gateway to the Peloponnese.
