Raszków commune - an urban-rural commune in the south-western part Greater Poland Voivodeshipin the northwest Ostrów County.
Raszków region it is located in the range of the Śląsko-Wielkopolskie hills on Kozminski Upland. It is a flat area of moraine origin. The commune covers an area of 133 square kilometers and is inhabited by 11,000 inhabitants. The seat of the commune is the city Raszków, located on the right bank of the river A clown at an altitude of approx. 150m above sea level
The Raszków commune is typically agricultural. There are so-called brown soils made of tills, and podzolic soils occurring on clay seams. The acreage is used primarily for the cultivation of rape and sugar beet.
Drive
Numerous county roads run through the commune. Their well-developed network of links Raszków with all localities of the commune, and with Ostrów Wielkopolski, Pleszew, Dobrzyca, Krotoszyn and Odolanów. The easiest way to get there is by your own car or PKS buses.
Public collective transport
The easiest way to move around the commune is to use your own transport. It is also possible to use numerous bus lines - PKS or MZK Ostrów Wielkopolski. There is no railway station in the commune.
