The RheinMain Regional Park is a landscape park in Rhine Main Area around Frankfurt am Main in Hesse.
background
The RheinMain Regional Park was conceived over 10 years ago to keep the remaining open spaces between the settlements in the Rhine-Main agglomeration free from building and to develop it for people to relax in the region.
history
The RheinMain regional park was initiated in 1994 by the then surrounding area of Frankfurt. The open spaces that still exist right down to the core should be secured and upgraded. It includes the cities of Wiesbaden, Bad Homburg, Hanau, Offenbach and Groß-Gerau.
This article first describes the western part between Hattersheim, Flörsheim and Hochheim.
