Republic of the Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville to distinguish it from its neighbor to the south, is a country in Central Africa. The country borders to Gabon in the West, Cameroon and central African Republic in the north and The Democratic Republic of Kongo in the east and south.

Roads outside the big cities are bad, especially in the north. During the rainy seasons, it can be difficult to get around by ordinary car.
