Jaksonek nature reserve - Rezerwat przyrody Jaksonek

"Jaksonek" nature reserve lies in the commune Aleksandrów in Piotrków County in voivodeship of Lodz, in Poland, in the mesoregion Opoczyńskie Hills near Sulejów. It was established on May 18, 1984 and has an area of ​​26.9 ha.

The reserve was created to protect the site twinflower and forest community of a natural nature. In a reserve, at the edge of a valley Pilica, is one of the southernmost places of the twinflower occurrence in our country.
It is a floristically rich, bright oak forest. 5 forest communities have been distinguished in the reserve: a luminous oak forest, a subcontinental oak-hornbeam forest, a mixed pine and oak forest, and a fresh pine forest and a dry pine forest.
Locations of many protected and rare species have been noted here, including: digitalis, goldfish lily, the common spotted eagle, white cinquefoil, flattened pinworm, round-leaved hug and blackening pea.
Protection in the reserve is partial.
The reserve is located in Sulejowski Landscape Park included in the Complex of Riverside Landscape Parks.
It stretches less than 6 km to the north Zalew Sulejowski.
