Konewka nature reserve - Rezerwat przyrody Konewka

"Konewka" forest floristic reserve lies in Poland, in voivodeship of Lodz, in you will say Tomaszów, in the municipality Inowłódz in the Piotrkow Plain mesoregion.
Created on October 11, 1978 and has an area of ​​99.91 ha. Coordinates: 51 ° 34′30 ″ N 20 ° 10′00 ″ E

The purpose of protection is to preserve a fragment of the former Pilicka Forest, a natural forest belonging to the luminous oak wood complex, which consists of an oak stand of 160 - 260 years. Under the oaks there is a rich undergrowth that is not obscured by bushes. There are rare forest plants here, e.g. ranunculus, cinquefoil, peach-leaved bellflower, European spotted eagle, St. John's wort, goldenhead lily, Melissa honey which are characteristic species for the luminous oak wood.
The fauna is often game, small vertebrate and invertebrate species.
It is protected by law here hermit beetle (beetle from the group of so-called rotten eaters).

To the west it is located approx. 10 km Kruszywiec nature reserve and a bit further Małecz nature reserve.
