Rodeneck(it. Rodengo) is a community in South-Tirol, it is located at the entrance to the Puster Valley. 1 Rodeneck has around 1,200 inhabitants, the community consists of seven districts 1 Vill, 2 Poisons, 3 Nauders, 4 St. Pauls, 5 Spiss, 6 Ahnerberg and 7 Fröllerberg. The largest district is Vill(Italian villa) with 500 inhabitants, this is also the administrative center.

Rodeneck is located southeast of Mühlbach on the left bank of the Rienza. The districts are located on a low mountain range below the Rodenecker Alm. The history of the community is connected with Rodenegg Castle, it stands in the Vill district on a rock above the Rienza Gorge.
