The Route agricole or Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road, the Autobahn 1, runs from Cairo above Banhā, Ṭanṭā (Tanta) after Alexandria through the western Nile Delta in Egypt. It is also Highway 1 and is next to the Alexandria desert highway, which is subject to a toll - Wādī en-Naṭrūn - el-Gīza (221 km) an alternative route between the two cities.

The agricole route is 225 km long and leads directly through the western Nile Delta in a south-easterly direction. You can get an impression of the delta while driving on this route.   • Located 14 km southwest of Itjāi el-Barūd Kōm el-Hisn (Necropolis from the Hyksos period), a few kilometers northeast of this are the ruins of the temple of Ramses ’II of Kōm Ferīn.
  • From Kafr eṣ-Ṣaiyāt you can reach it on a side road Sais (Sā el-Hagar).
