Siófok is a Hungarian Small town on the south bank of the eastern Lake Balaton (Balaton).

Siófok, the capital of the south bank of the Balaton, with the famous beaches “Goldufer” and “Silberufer”. On these beaches you will find all the facilities that make bathing an experience. The closer one Balaton Airport(IATA: SOB) 87 km southwest of Siófok is closed to passenger traffic until further notice.
By train
The place is connected to the local and long-distance traffic with its own train station. A one-way 2nd class train ticket from Budapest to Siófok costs around HUF 1,880. Bicycles can be carried on trains marked with a bicycle symbol.
The station is not barrier-free, stairs must be negotiated from both sides of the station into the station tunnel and up onto the tracks. There are only narrow sliders for bicycles that cannot be used for trolleys. The station is under renovation as of 5/2018, whether the renovation will also include elevators was not evident.
