Sonnenbühl is a community on the Swabian Alb.

The municipality of Sonnenbühl was created in 1975 through the merger of the municipalities of Erpfingen, Genkingen, Undingen and Willmandingen. It is located at an altitude of 775 m on the Reutlinger Alb, which is not climatically one of the warmest, but one of the sunniest areas in Germany.

Information about the caves: Sonnenbühl cave worlds. The caves are open Apr-Oct daily 9 am-5:30pm, Nov Mar Sat, Sun 9 am-5pm, Dec-Febr. Winter break (bat protection). Admission 4 € There is no public transport to the Nebelhöhle, to the Bear Cave only on weekends.
