The nearest commercial airport is in Dresden.
By train
The S-Bahn line S1 wrong Meissen every half hour via all major Dresden train stations and via Pirna in the direction of Bad Schandau / Schöna to Wehlen. After the train ride, you still have to take the ferry to get to the main part of the village and the hiking trails.

The church was built in neo-Romanesque style in 1883, renovated after the devastating floods in 2002 and used as a Cyclists Church, because it is located directly on the Elbe Cycle Path, reopened. It has a classicist interior, the chancel with a starry sky painting and a Jehmlich organ from 1924.

The 8000 m2 facility is a great destination, especially for families. There is also a "large" garden train to ride along. - Hike along the meadow path on the left bank of the Elbe Oberrathen with an unobstructed view of the rock formation and the bastion, approx. 1 hour. The path is easy to walk with sturdy shoes.

- The Rauenstein At 304 m it is the smallest and most northerly peak in Saxon Switzerland and offers a beautiful panorama.
- Devil's Gorge
- The Uttewalder Grund is a canyon overgrown with mosses and ferns. The Uttewalder Felsentor was created by falling boulders. It is one of the most beautiful gorges in Saxon Switzerland.
