Solda is a small village in the center of the Ortler Alps and at the foot of the Ortlers, the highest mountain in South Tyrol at 3,905 m. Sulden lies in the middle of the Stelvio National Park and is framed by 14 three-thousand-meter peaks. Due to the altitude (1,900 m), skiing in Sulden is possible from the end of October to the beginning of May, but it is also well attended in summer. The resort has over 2,000 guest beds and is accessed by numerous cable cars and chair lifts.
