Communicate
Manage the day-to-day
Chelyabinsk is not a tourist city, so few people speak English (let alone French). Basic knowledge of Russian can be useful, and knowing the Cyrillic alphabet is very useful, if only for deciphering the signs.
Security
The general recommendations for Russia are valid for Chelyabinsk. It is best to avoid drinking tap water directly. The inhabitants do not consume it without having filtered it.
