Tottori is a prefecture japanese, located in the region of Chūgoku, on Honshū, the main island of Japan.

Understand

The prefecture of Tottori forms with the Shimane prefecture the region of San'in ((山陰)), which means "the shaded side of the mountain". A mountain range separates these two prefectures from those of Hiroshima and D' Okayama, which means that the weather here is considerably wetter than in the south.
