Stay safe
The Czech Republic is a fairly safe country and, with general caution, will do well there as well. However, pickpockets should be watched out, especially in Prague. Use guarded parking spaces whenever possible. Do not leave valuables in the car. Don’t leave your drink unattended at the bar, knockout drops have been encountered.
Stay healthy
Healthcare in the Czech Republic is good, although not at the Nordic level. It is good for Finns to obtain a European health care card, which can be obtained free of charge from Kela. With the card, the tourist receives the same price of health care as the locals.
Respect
The Czechs do not consider themselves to be very Eastern European, which is good to remember. Always remember to say Dobrý den (good day) and Na shledanou (goodbye) when you leave a small shop.
