The community Unterhaching is southeast of Munich in Upper Bavaria.

Nationwide best known club from Unterhaching is the SpVgg Unterhaching e.V., which at times played in the first soccer league. The highlight was the last matchday in the 1999/2000 season, when the game association won 2-0 at home against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the leading team up until then, making Bayern Munich, who had been second up until then, the German champions.

The delicatessen manufacturer was founded in 1845 by Johann Conrad Develey as a mustard factory in Kaufinger Strasse (Pedestrian zone) founded.
