getting there
By train
The nearest train station is in Sierre. You can get there with the Interregio Brig-Glis or Geneva arrive. From the north you can quickly get through the Lötschberg base tunnel in Brig. In Sierre, you can get on the postbus to Val d’Aniviers right at the train station.
By bus
From Sierre there is a continuous post bus line up to Vissoie. There are other buses behind Grimentz, Zinal, St. Luc, Chandollin and Vercorin Another continuous line also runs from Sierre Vercorin.
By car
Either you use the Lötschberg car train or the route along Lake Geneva to get to Valais. Then you drive to Sierre. Then you turn onto the winding road into Val d’Aniviers.
By plane

You can also use the postbus to get back and forth between the places in the valley. Mostly in Vissoie be transferred, but the buses are all connected to each other.
Tourist Attractions
There are numerous historic chalet villages in Val d’Aniviers, for example Chandollin or Vissoie. There are also beautiful corners in places where there are some large functional buildings, examples are Grimentz and Vercorin.

Winter sports
Vercorin
The ski area of is located above the valley entrance Vercorin. It extends over 35 kilometers of slopes on the Cret du Midi, which are accessed by a gondola lift and six tow lifts. There is also a snow park and an airbag for freestylers, as well as a toboggan run.
Saint-Luc / Chandollin
On the slopes of the Illhorn, Schwarzhorn and Bella Tola mountains above Saint-Luc and Chandollin Winter sports enthusiasts will find 60 km of slopes and are brought up by a funicular, three chair lifts and eleven surface lifts. In addition to the ski slopes, there are a number of winter hiking trails and in Chandollin there is also a toboggan run.
Grimentz-Zinal
In 2013 the areas Grimentz and Zinal connected by a long cable car. Since then, the slopes around Sorebois near Zinal and the high valleys around Bendolla near Grimentz have formed a ski area with 115 kilometers of slopes and 19 lifts, including a gondola lift, two aerial tramways, five chair lifts and eleven drag lifts. In Grimentz there is also a snow park, a toboggan run and several winter hiking trails.

Some of the cable cars are also open in summer and offer access to beautiful hiking areas with views of high alpine peaks or glaciers. Even without a great deal of alpine knowledge, you can see many mountains, including some three-thousand-meter peaks such as the Becs de Bossons Grimentz or the Bella Tola Saint-Luc conquer. Also to the Glacier de Moiry near Grimentz or the Glacier de Zinal at Zinal you get close on hiking trails.
Rockclimbing
The highest mountains of the Val d’Aniviers rise to the southeast and south of Zinal. Several well-known four-thousand-meter peaks such as the Zinalrothorn, the Dent Blanche or the Weisshorn, one of the highest Alpine peaks, are waiting to be climbed here.
